Questions To Ask Before You Hire A Rental Manager
A checklist of high-level questions every owner should ask any timeshare rental company — including us — before signing.
Published 2026-07-23
Before you share logins or sign an agreement, write down answers. Reputable companies welcome questions; high-pressure sellers dodge them.
Money: Is there an upfront fee? What percentage of what amount do I keep? When am I paid? What is excluded (taxes, cleaning, channel fees)?
Operations: Who lists the stay? Which platforms? Who handles guest issues? What if I need dates for personal use? What happens if a guest cancels or damages a unit?
Identity: What is the legal company name and physical address? Can I call a real phone number during business hours? Is there a written agreement I can read offline?
Independence: Are you affiliated with my developer or club? (Many managers are independent — that is fine when disclosed clearly.) How do you use my club login if required?
Exit: How do I end the relationship? What happens to confirmed guests if I terminate? How long until final payouts settle?
BNB Services answers these in writing in the owner agreement: free to join, 50% of guest room rate, weekly payouts after eligible stays, independent company. Start free or call (866) 423-5302.
